Job Summary:
Tuvli, an Akima company, is hiring for a SharePoint Engineer to support our DoS client located in Washington, DC.
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in the formulation and implementation of DOS and USG programs that are designed to foster rapid transitions to democracy in post-conflict states and assists in the development of policies and programs that support transitional governments in their moves toward an increasingly democratic society.
Ensure that CSO SharePoint POCs are trained in how to appropriately use SharePoint.
Ensure Bureau’s SharePoint data is current and that sites are allocated correctly and reflect CSO’s internal structure.
Lead Bureau efforts, coordinating with both Government and Contractor staff to drive successful and expedient execution of initiatives.
Foster and maintain strategic relationships across Department as well as with other Agencies across the U.S. Government to support CSO’s agenda and facilitate swift action for Bureau and Department initiatives.
Research, Architect, and Develop inter-agency platforms for CSO to better distribute analytical products to greater USG, MIL & International Partner communities including public, OpenNet/intranet, as well as classified networks.
Gather requirements for enterprise initiatives (Enterprise-wide software installation and support, Operations Center establishment and creation for IMAP.
Serve as after-hours and weekend support for Senior Staff including the Assistant Secretary of the Bureau.
As directed by the Bureau, provide assistance and advisory support to other Bureaus to foster relationships and facilitate joint activities.
Work with Executive Level staff across the Department as well both Bureau Senior Staff to facilitate Bureau initiatives.
Provide web and graphic design support to CSO/CPP for marketing and public website efforts.
Provide support to the GSO when required with transport coordination, pickup, approval and escorting of personnel and equipment.
Establish, manage, and maintain physical and virtual server infrastructure for Bureau and Department systems and resources.
Manage the integration of data sharing between the AA team, IMAP initiative and other relevant entities in the department.
Leverage and coordinate planning experience across the department’s analytical entities and identify relevant data sources across the department and U.S. government (USG).
Establish mechanisms for improved data sharing within the department and across the USG.
Assist on other IMAP-related issues, including content creation, curation, and database management.
Support the deployment and management of CSO’s IMAP to include content curation and systems administration.
Maintain and administer CSO’s ArcGIS Enterprise system and licensing for all IMAP software tools.
Support the development of new and continuing social media analytics tools, and other emerging technology as needed, for early warning and conflict prediction in the GHC.
Work with APPL teams, regional teams, PSC, and EX-IT in developing interactive dashboards and other creative data visualization for priority CSO analysis products for inclusion in the IMAP.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in the areas of computer science, computer engineering, or any related field.
Experience establishing and maintaining department-wide mission-critical enterprise systems and operations centers.
Experience in an IT setting where customer service, customer liaison, problem reporting, problem analysis, problem solution, coordination, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting are required on an on-going basis.
Experience of SharePoint concepts and methods with a focus on innovative and full use of those capabilities and on customer service.
Experience in the use of methods and practices for troubleshooting, recovering, installing, adjusting, modifying, and improving enterprise-wide SharePoint infrastructure and sites.
Strong background supporting globally distributed workforce.
Strong IT diagnostics skills.
Strong web/graphics design background.
Strong background in project planning.
Strong knowledge of, and experience with, data management and databases (SQL, etc.), and familiarity with basic programming/ scripting (Python, XML, JavaScript, etc.)
Demonstrated success in project planning and management.
Demonstrated expertise in communicating insights from structured and unstructured data to non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated expertise in common data visualization tools to include interactive dashboards and other creative solutions, such as insights for ArcGIS and Tableau.
Experience with mobile applications development and support.
Experience administering enterprise systems such as ArcGIS enterprise and Tableau Enterprise.
Experience managing and administering suites of software licensing tools.
Experience with geo-mapping and analytics.
Experience with diverse programming knowledge including Java, .NET, SQL, jQuery.
Systems administration background with Windows Server (2008 and higher).
Ability to support information technology infrastructure as well as enabling personnel to utilize all aspects of said infrastructure.
Ability to support the Bureau ISSO and act as their liaison in CIO-level briefings.
Ability to manage complex relationship and work across bureaucratic and organizational boundaries.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
A history of creative problem solving and successfully collaborating.
Familiarity with web and graphic design using software such as Adobe Creative Cloud.
Active Top Secret Clearance.
