Job Summary:
Tuvli, an Akima company, is hiring for a Project Engineer III Specialist to support our DoS client located in Washington, DC.

This statement of work is for a professional service (PS) resource that shall be an AppDynamics Professional Implementer (on-premises and Cloud) to support the list of six (6) major projects below in AppDynamics. This resource shall collaborate with existing EIO contractors and Professional Service resources to continue support and expand monitoring of CA applications. CA-CST requires this resource to continue the below list of projects:
- Presentation of data and demonstration of most impactful data points for the enhanced end-to-end monitoring for the high value asset or applications as identified by the government.
NOTE: Meeting participants should review the university courses prior to session with professional services (PS) allowing for a better understanding of the material being presented. These training links will be provided prior to meeting. Sessions will be recorded.
Documentation - deliverable is to be added directly to the customer wiki in a format designated by the customer.
Continuous Integration / Continuous Development (CI/CD) integration – We are in the beginning stages of creating a new instance of AppDynamics for the new application development and testing environment being built at CA (i.e., New NPE). Expand AppDynamics capabilities into development environment for enhanced DevOps solutions.
Establish meetings of regular cadence with the development team leads to ensure AppDynamics meeting their needs.
Engineering support for production and non-production environments as needed including Monitoring of Monitoring (MoM) instance.
Predictive Analytic Platform Pathing and Monitoring – This project includes expanding AppDynamics to the Azure platform utilizing the two methods for deploying AppDynamics on Azure: The AppDynamics Azure Site Extension or compiling the Window .Net Microservices Agent NuGet Package.
Design and document a disaster recovery plan and implement at a designated disaster recovery site. Work with the CAEIO contract staff to implement the necessary servers, firewall rules, etc. to bring that instance online.
Instrument AppDynamics for modernized and legacy applications as deemed appropriate.
Must be included in the data demonstration mentioned in item #1.
Provide a roadmap as it relates to instrumenting CA GOTS Modernized Application, production on top of MuleSoft.
Instrument AppDynamics monitoring for the MuleSoft infrastructure.
Instrument AppDynamics with sidecar implementation on OCP on new non-production and production environments.
Must be included in the data demonstration mentioned in item #1.
Integrate AppDynamics on some cloud service interface (Salesforce, OCI).
Propose industry standard health rules and templates for various platforms, systems, and components and utilize best practices.
Response and resolve security findings, bugs, and POA&M published by DoS, or vendor.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of qualified experience. Master’s degree preferred.
Active Secret Clearance.
5 years of qualified experience.
