Job Responsibilities
Manages Human Capital support functions to ensure high quality and effective Human Capital operations and administration.
Evaluates organizational structures in relation to designed organizational strategies and mission requirements and recommends organizational structures to bring those elements into alignment.
Supports client's Human Capital portfolio, including performance development and review.
Uses skill inventories and other means to identify current organizational requirements.
Recommends communication strategies and methods for adapting structures.
Makes recommendations on appropriate mission/function statements and on new positions in line with the recommended or revised structures.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
3 years of work experience supporting the federal government
Ability to obtain an HHS Public Trust clearance.
Must have advanced proficiency in at least three (3) MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Power Point).
Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across various functional groups.
Excellent oral and written communication skills including strong writing/editing/proofreading skills (must have excellent grammar, syntax, spelling, and punctuation).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in which priorities shift quickly with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and budgetary requirements.
Must have the ability to work independently or under only general direction.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time (must be local to National Capital Region or willing to travel on short notice).
Desired Qualifications:
- Direct, hands-on experience with HHS or in the public health domain
