Job Summary:

Tundra Federal is looking for a Data Configuration Manager to support Contract Deliverable Line Items (CDRLs), baselines, and assets/licenses for an Enterprise Air Force IT program.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide configuration management (CM) of all relevant program artifacts.

  • Review and analyze data deliveries for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

  • Maintain CM files including configuration identification, change control, and status accounting records.

  • Participate in cross-functional change control boards to evaluate proposed changes.

  • Review and analyze proposed changes to ensure operational and sustainment capabilities are not adversely affected by the changes.

  • Review and analyze conformance to CDRL requirements.

  • Support the establishment of workflows.

  • Track data item deliverables and responses.

  • Work closely with program management, systems engineers, quality managers, design/manufacturing engineers in an integrated product team environment.

  • Develop and administer configuration management plans.

  • Manage configurations of software, engineering documents, design drawings, engineering changes and notices, and planning/conducting design audits.

  • Track Change Requests (CRs) and Discrepancy Reports (DRs) / Problem Reports (PRs).

  • Ensure integrity of the baseline including major releases, minor releases, patches, and software maintenance.

  • Maintain the CM library and software repository.

  • Manage and control product baselines.

  • Recommend and document comprehensive configuration management plans for software, hardware, firmware, and peripherals for IT systems.

  • Audit and review IT system configurations.

  • Create, and maintain revisions to, the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) packages.

  • Receive, proof and distribute CDRL data deliverables.

  • Monitor compliance of CDRL data deliverables.

  • Maintain Asset Inventory, Warranty tracking, DoD IUID online registry.

  • Adequately identify data requirements in the Statement of Work (SOW).


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in configuration management.

  • Experience in managing configuration of software, engineering documents, design drawings, engineering changes and notices, and planning/conducting design audits to enable government ownership of the program technical baseline.

  • An in-depth understanding of the configuration change control process, the role of the Change Control Board, and change control documentation.

  • Experience performing the technical administrative activities necessary to manage CM tools for inventory control, version control, data duplication, media labeling.

  • Experience performing baseline administrative activities for multiple environments.

  • Highly organized and detail oriented.

  • Travel up to 25%.

  • Active Secret clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.

  • IT Configuration Management experience within the Department of Defense environment.
