Job Summary:

RiverTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer focused Material Manager to join our team. This material manager directs materiel management activities involved in developing, operating, implementing, and analyzing manual and automated integrated logistics systems supporting the AFMC AFLCMC HB-ECLS program. Overarching activities include item and financial system audit accounting, inventory management and controls, financial planning, and warehousing functions. Monitors and operates the Integrated Logistics Systems-Supply (ILS-S) and associated logistics systems interfaces such as ALMSS.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The C2ISR-ECLS Material Manager is responsible for the organization, tracking, and accounting of C2ISR-ECLS project material and assets supporting operations.

  • The Material Manager assists and support technical project requirements and develops analytical systems to organize, track, store, maintain accountability of all assets and associated equipment.

  • Administer and operate supply systems and activities in order to provide the necessary equipment and supplies for Air Force operations; perform supply materiel management aggregation functions; coordinate material support;

  • Have knowledge of material, work sequences, and schedules in shops or other industrial operations, and the specialized needs of the programs or operational areas supported;

  • Determine, initiate, and coordinate required actions by establishing and maintaining liaison with inventory managers, contractors or vendors, and planning organizations to schedule or advise as to timing of procurement, delivery, or emergency transportation; perform item and monetary accounting and inventory stock control;

  • Would be responsible for financial planning, funds control, requirements computation, allowances determination, research, and identification of supplies and equipment;

  • Would be responsible for demand processing, mission support, the customer service unit, retail sales, mobility, and training; perform and monitor management (and procedural application) of manual or automated inventory control actions;

  • Compute and accumulate data for use in analysis; help develop work standards and methodology; perform inventories, and ensure timely correction of discrepancies; prepare, analyze, and evaluate reports, procedures, and policy data;

  • Compute requirement, determine allowance, and research and identify supplies and equipment requirements; perform operations involved in storage, inspection, identification, and receipt of property; and plan and determine the distribution and positioning of supplies among major supply stations, stock points, or using activities.

  • Manages materiel management activities and systems involved in requirements determination, inventory control, storage and issue of supplies and equipment.

  • Coordinates with maintenance activities on reparable component actions.

  • Obtains material required for equipment modification, periodic component exchange and bills of material in support of maintenance.

  • Accounts for all items contained in mobility readiness spares packages.

  • Provides materiel management expertise to combat support, enabler organizations and responsible officers for the proper accounting and control of specified classes of supply. Reviews and validates requirements.

  • Coordinate equipment transfer and deployment actions with the accountable officer.

  • Manages materiel management related systems and hardware. Performs operator maintenance on materiel management related systems and hardware.

  • Must be able to multitask efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects and have strong attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years' experiencemanaging C2ISR ECLS GFE/CFE and GOTS/COTS.

  • Considered expert in a majority of identified tasks, mentors, and troubleshoots process issues with Level I/II materiel managers or more experience in material handling, warehousing, inventory and or logistics, material planning purchasing and other related supply chain experience.

  • Experience developing database retrieval scripts for materiel management support analyses.

  • Experience controlling the issue of classified, sensitive, pilferable, controlled items and bench stock property.

  • Experience interfacing with ILS-S and ALMSS functions to include ordering, receiving, storage, distribution, tracking, disposition and movement of supplies, organizational account management, weapon system spares support, cataloging, computing stock levels, mobility, warranty management, financial reporting, inventory control point, supply point, contractor-provided weapon system support, aircraft, and engine maintenance, hazardous material management, communications security management, and mobile technology.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Secret Clearance and eligible to obtain Top Secret clearance if required.

Travel Requirements:

  • This position is located at a RAFB, Georgia.

  • Domestic travel may be required for training and program coordination.
