Job Summary:
Compass Point is looking for a Civilian Harm Mitigation and Response Technician (CMHRT) to support the US Special Operations Command at MacDill AFB, FL.
Ensure accomplishment of Combatant Command, USSOCOM specific, required actions within the Secretary’s Civilian Harm Mitigation and Response Action Plan (CHMR-AP) and the OUSD(P) CHMR Department of Defense-Instruction (DoDI) by developing integration protocols to complement systems in place.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor progress to comply with directed timelines.
Create relevant metrics that display the degree of effectiveness for the SOF CHMR program.
Provide analytical support to defining characteristics of the civilian environment.
Utilize data base management systems to receive, evaluate, disseminate, catalog, and store specified information and reports.
Provide timely planning expertise to enable requisite level of red teaming support to identify priorities and highlight challenges.
Contribute analytical support to initial CIVCAS / CIVHARM assessments and during follow-on investigations.
Employ the directed CCMD response option as required.
Capture and share all lessons learned.
Inform capability planning and development.
Evaluate allies and partners, assess their level of understanding and degree of implementation. Train and educate the force; integrate CHMR technical requirements into all levels of commands’ training and exercise program.
Provide technical expertise to evaluations during certification efforts.
Contribute analytical support to the development of policies and directives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant area (military studies, anthropology, IT, education, operations research, analytics, et.al.), or the combination of specialized training, education, and experience (including military service) equivalent to a degree and required years of experience may be acceptable.
Recent relevant military experience supporting position requirements.
High degree of understanding a staff officer role with HQ USSOCOM, a Service HQ, or a CCMD HQ (4-Star military HQ).
Understanding and knowledge of the missions, core activities, roles, and functions of USSOCOM and its components and Sub-unified Commands.
Demonstrated expertise in Joint Fire Support.
Demonstrated expertise in oral and written communications.
Possess knowledge in strategic-level planning (e.g., operational design, JOPP, campaigning, and contingency plan development, etc.).
Has familiarity with using the following systems and tools: JTIMS, DRRS, JLLIS, and MS Office.
