Overview

Job Summary:

The Production Control Clerck is a full-time, on-site person who report directly to the Production Control Manager. The Production Control Clerk, creates, generates, schedules, receives, records and distributes preventive work orders to service crews.

This position requires that the employee must successfully complete criminal history information background check and drug screening and be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. Must be able to attain TS/SCI clearance. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • This position is a full-time on-site position. The individual will work in NGA Archibus system, creating, editing, generating, and scheduling preventive maintenance tasks for technicians.

  • Ensures parts and tools required for PM work Orders are available when work is scheduled.

  • The Production Control Clerk ensures work is appropriately scheduled to ensure work is completed as required and crews are adequately resourced.

  • Processes timesheets and prepares Purchase request forms for entry into Akima accounting system.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Computer experience, Microsoft Products, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Email.

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree

  • One year experience in scheduling/dispatching

  • Valid driver's license

  • Ability to multitask while staying organized.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Customer friendly and able to speak clearly and answer the phone.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Archibus experience preferred but not required.

  • Preferred experience in Facility Management.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be required to stand; walk; sit; lift to 25 lbs.; bend; reach; carry; stoop; kneel; use hand and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; use fingers and hands to type or write.  

  • This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment, such as hardhat, safety glasses, goggles, face shields, hearing protection, work gloves, chemical gloves, respirator, and safety-toed boots for a full shift. 

  • The individual must be able to read and interpret safety regulations, procedures, and hazard analysis and implement environmental, safety, and health requirements into work tasks.
