Shadow IOC/RIT Instructor

Job Summary:

Individuals serving as IOC/RIT Instructors (Shadow 200) are required to provide flight, simulation and academic instruction in support of the US Army’s UAS Training Battalion located at Ft Huachuca, AZ.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develops; tests; maintains; and delivers moderately complex flight and simulations training programs.

• Establishes and reviews course content as required.

• Maintains records of training activities; participant progress; and flight information.

• Updates course documentation on a regular basis to ensure timeliness and relevance.

• May provide leadership and evaluation for other instructors, as assigned.

• Stays current with new training; educational; and multimedia technologies.

• Maintains current knowledge (currency) of all equipment and software utilized by our customer to provide training.

• Participates in special projects within the scope of the Performance Work Statement (PWS), as required.

• May be required to operate/instruct any of the customer's UAS platforms, based on customer’s training throughput (surge).

• Train personnel in the skills necessary to be an effective Unit Instructor Operator for Shadow 200.

Minimum Qualifications:

• System qualification in either Shadow 200 TUAS version 2 (V2) or system qualification in Gray Eagle MQ-1C UAS on the current software version.

• Must have 24 Months within the last five years and a minimum of 700 collective Instructor Operator flight hours (Live flight / Simulator) of teaching POI for 2-13th Aviation Regiment on Shadow 200 and/or Gray Eagle UAS.

• Contractors will meet all requirements as per AR 95-20, TC 3-04.11, and FAA-H-8083-9A Aviation Instructor's Handbook.

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior TRADOC experience; IO hours in training environment preferred; multi-platform quals preferred.

• Prior deployment and operation of the platform applying to instruct.

• Familiarity with ISO- certified Quality Management System.

• Current active US Secret Clearance.
