Job Summary:
Navy HYDRA Land Mobile Radio Field Tech/Engineer- SRC-55(V) HYDRA NEC ET-1410/VB41.
Job Responsibilities:
Understand functions and operations of HYDRA system.
Database Management.
System Troubleshooting.
Preventative Maintenance.
Radiating Transmission Line (RTL) characteristics.
Minimum Qualifications:
Hold and maintain Secret Clearance.
High school diploma, or degree/and or technical school.
4 years of relative experience.
Basic computer knowledge, to include configuration, troubleshooting and network configuration of HYDRA AN/SRC-55(v).
Ability to train junior personnel and shipboard technicians on system concepts and troubleshooting of the AN/SRC-55(v) HYDRA system.
Ability to read system drawings and schematics and interpret system requirements.
Understanding fundamentals of HYDRA interfaces with ship’s systems to include SATCC, 5MC Announcing system and ship telephone systems.
General use of Microsoft software to include Word, Excell, Project and PowerPoint.
Ability to travel 25%.
