Overview

Job Summary:

Digital transformation evangelism is the art of getting people on board with digital transformation in any organization. The Senior Technology Architect will be responsible fordesign, creation, and deployment of IT systems and scaling ideas to transform an organization's digital experience.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with implementation partners and business leads and provide expert application modernization functional support including participation in global design, configuration review, testing and go live, functional troubleshooting, setup changes, queries, and data analysis.

  • Act as a lead for the translation of business objectives and requirements into functional solutions.

  • Work with Cross functional teams, Key Stakeholders, and External customers to transform specifications into design and architecture documents that will comprise the blueprints for the development team.

  • Plan, design, and build cloud-based IT infrastructure systems and solutions.

  • Develop and implement programs and platforms and undertake a high-level analysis of the organization needs and existing resources.

  • Design, develop, implement, and integrate software systems and components, including networking, computing, and enclave environments.

  • Work in close collaboration with solutions architects, developers, engineers, and other specialists.

  • Work with the customer to transform their legacy applications using microservices, API management, and other available event-driven architecture.

  • Stay informed of the latest emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions that address the organizational challenges and objectives.

  • Create technical roadmaps that capture and plot current and future systems.

  • Create documentation related to the technological infrastructure.

  • Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific engagements.

  • Review, analyze and write technical specifications, test and debug to support enterprise application and reporting.

  • Lead teams and stakeholders of all levels throughout the solutioning process.

  • Provide solution architecture with an emphasis on data and analytics for enterprise infrastructure.

  • Work cross-functionally with application teams to modernize applications and processes.

  • Coordinate efforts with the developer teams and provide cross-team leadership and guidance.

  • Work with the client organization to translate business needs into a technology solution.

  • Participate in project estimation, design reviews and code walk-throughs for data related projects.

  • Ensure all recommendations, design implementations, and documentation adhere to current FISMA, NIST (including AI RMF), and associated industry best practices.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science of related field (master’s preferred).

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

  • 10+ years demonstrated experience architecting, documenting, and presenting cloud computing, custom-build and/or hybrid solutions for government clients in analytics, big data, cybersecurity, engineering, predictive analytics, or AI/ML.

  • Experience in solution architecture with an emphasis on data and analytics for enterprise infrastructure.

  • Knowledge of modern software design patterns, including microservices and event driven architecture.

  • Demonstrated experience working in Agile/Scrum based projects.

  • Proven track record of leading successful digital transformation efforts.

  • Prior experience working with FDA and or HHS preferred.

  • Demonstrated business acumen, customer relationship management, and communication skills.

  • Experience with infrastructure related projects and working on large scale enterprise production environments.

  • Team player, able to work with cross-functional teams, and highly interested in working on third party system technologies.

  • Ability to provide both internal and external customer support, including ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.

  • Self-starter, motivated, proactive, well organized and fast learner.

  • Requires excellent communication skills; oral, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent time management, decision making, presentation, human relations, and organization skills.

  • The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen or a green card holder and be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
