Job Summary:

RiverTech is seeking a skilled Network Systems Engineer to lead the day-to-day engineering and technical refresh requirements of a multi-faceted program supporting locations both CONUS and OCONUS.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The selected Candidate will provide life cycle management and refresh of the training enablers fielded to legacy Mission Training Complex (MTC) locations based on the approved refresh cycle.

  • The Candidate will work alongside the Program/Contract Manager to appropriately procure materials, software, and hardware, as well as support the ultimate testing and installation at both CONUS and OCONUS MTC locations.

  • Our candidate will be responsible for COTS Product Procurement and Delivery, Hardware/Software Integration & Configuration Management, Logistics, New Equipment Training (NET), Legacy Site Refresh/Lifecycle replacement, Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) Site Refresh, and End-to-End Integration.

  • Additionally, the selected candidate will conduct and participate in technical reviews for the purpose of assessing COTS Products availability and maintainability. This will include incorporation of industry best practices for configuration management (CM) processes.

  • They will perform all activities required to integrate and assemble the hardware and software to achieve a fully functional system, including the procurement, installation, and deployment of product to JLCCTC sites in support of refresh activities.

  • In tandem with a design lead, the candidate will maintain the inventory of deployed equipment to facilitate Government property accountability transactions.

  • The selected Candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all COTS software licenses are available and in place at each of the installations and document all software licenses, duration, renewal cycles and associated maintenance/version release cycles for tracking purposes.

  • At the close of all refresh activity, the selected candidate will ensure that there is proper integration and functionality with legacy and new equipment installations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least seven (7) years of experience in Information Assurance technology or a related area.

  • Must have a degree of expertise with the following systems/protocols: Microsoft Server 2012 R2, Cisco Call Manager, access and core switches, routers, firewalls.

  • At least one of the following current certifications: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing and Switching.

  • Familiarity with Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLLCTC).

  • An Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar field.
