Overview
Successful candidates will be employees of AIS, a premier government contractor charged with employing highly motivated and well-qualified personnel who can advance the missions of the ORNL in Oak Ridge, TN. Though employed by AIS, the employee will take day-to-day direction from technical personnel employed directly by the research laboratory. Pay, benefits, human resource, and employment management functions are provided by AIS.
Qualified applicants must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years of age, and able to meet pre-employment requirements including any required physicals, drug screen, and/or background investigation to satisfy clearance requirements from the DOE.
ORNL utilizes the following modules in SAP:
Classification System
Document Management System
Materials Management including Inventory Management, Material Master, Warehouse Management, MRP, Purchasing, Logistics Invoice Verification, Business Partners
Sales and Distribution including Master Data (Business Partners – Customers and Contact Persons, Product Master), Sales (quotations and orders), Shipping and Transportation, Billing
Project Systems
Financial Accounting (General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Dunning, Accounts Payable, Banks, Asset Management)
Controlling
Human Resources (Personnel Management, Payroll, Organizational Management)
Success Factors and Ariba are also in use and are tightly integrated with the SAP ERP system.
Responsibilities
Provide consulting services for up to 20 hours weekly to provide assistance in the Finance and Controlling (FICO) areas of SAP
Provide support in the testing phase of the Company’s upgrade from SAP ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4HANA
May be asked to support ongoing operations in the SAP ECC 6.0 environment
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 15 years of SAP FICO experience
Experience with SAP
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and interpersonal skills
Accounting background and familiar with core SAP processes in FICO, including the general ledger, primary cost postings, assessment cycles, project systems costing sheet and overhead application, and variance processes
Posted Salary Range
120-125/hr (part time less than 30 hours position)
