Job Responsibilities:

• Inspects, maintains, tests, and repairs H-1 helicopter power plants and power plants systems.

• Employs operational risk management principles.

• Performs ground maintenance tasks and repairs on H-1 aircraft and mission systems components.

• Interprets technical manual/correspondence (i.e. instructions, drawings, diagrams).

• Identifies and diagnose H-1 aircraft and mission systems malfunctions.

• Documents all inspections, maintenance, and repairs in a maintenance management database system (AIMS).

• Assists with ordering any necessary parts and materials needed for maintenance/repairs.

• Assists CZAF personnel with the performance of intermediate-level maintenance duties by providing over-the-shoulder instruction and job shadowing.

• Utilizes a multitude of information management systems.

• On a daily and as-needed basis, accepts aircraft materials from supply system and ensures applicable technical directives have been complied with prior to installation/use on aircraft.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 6 years of relevant experience with 2-4 years of Power Plants Mechanic experience.

• HS diploma or equivalent required.

• US Citizenship required.

• Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.

• Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions.

• Must be able to stand, sit, walk, reach and bend for extended periods of time.
