Job Summary:

Lockwood Hills is looking for a Mover Helper to work in Moffett Field, CA. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Working under the direction of the Shipping, Receiving and Mail Distribution Lead supports daily moving and event setup services for NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, CA.

  • Provides office moving and relocation services.

  • Experience assembling and disassembling modular cubicle office furniture.

  • Moves computers, electronic and laboratory equipment as directed.

  • Experience providing packing services for offices and laboratories.

  • Provide setup and support services for ARC special events.

  • Loading, securing and unloading furniture, equipment and materials on transport vehicles within the ARC.

  • Sets-up and removes tables, seating, canopies and equipment for special events as per provided floor plans.

  • Knowledge, experience and proficient skills of using moving techniques.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to lift heavy furniture in excess of 80 pounds continuously.

  • Possess a clean DMV driving record and valid driver's license.

  • Current Forklift experience and certifications

  • 2-5 years of moving/office relocation services and general warehouse experience
