  • Hourly Rate: $30.22/hour plus HW rate plus HW rate of $5.26

  • Offering a $1,000 sign on bonus for those selected for hire.

Job Responsibilities:

The duties of the Armed Security Officer for the New Boston Space Force Station shall include but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain the security of all areas by taking actions as required by appropriate procedures and checklists.

  • Take charge of your post by securing and protecting personnel and property for which you are responsible until properly relived. Comply with orders and instructions given. These responsibilities continue until relived by proper authority.

  • Report all violations of orders you must enforce. You have the authority to detain anyone violating these orders.

  • Give the alarm in case of disorder or emergency.

  • Report unusual events that threaten the security of the installation or endangers life or property.

  • Take reasonable counteraction to save life and property or lessen the danger. At the same time, you must maintain the security of your post and remain alert for other violations during the emergency.

  • Maintain primary Entry and Egress location at the Base Entrance.

  • Conduct Physical and electronic surveillance in all areas of assigned responsibility.

  • Provide for Base Traffic Control when required.

  • Maintain checklists and checkpoints during your assigned shift.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.

  • One and a half years of armed security experience or equivalent military or civilian law enforcement.

  • Able to obtain Secret government clearance.

  • NH Guard Card

  • Pre-hire contingencies upon conditional offer of employment:

  • Drug Test

  • Background Investigation

  • Ability to pass a physical agility test ( PAT)

  • Physical Examination
