Job Summary:
AFO is seeking a CBRN Subject Matter Expert and Position is contingent upon contract award.
Job Responsibilities:
The CBRNE SME provides technical analysis ranges from complex systems and major end items down to the component and piece/part level and their repairs.
Develop / conduct training on the operation and repair of team equipment.
Conduct standard and non-standard tasks on equipment.
Prepare calibration and equipment status reports.
Coordinate the training schedule for Site Directors approval.
Assess purchased equipment to ensure that mission requirements are met.
Ensure communications and follow-up between the team's logistics point of contact (or commander) and contractor personnel.
Maintain a work area free of hazards and immediately report any unsafe conditions. Account for GFE using hand-receipt documents.
Minimum Qualifications:
10 years' experience in CBRNE operations either as Government Civilian and or military occupation skill (MOS) Experience in public speaking to both civilian and military audiences.
Experience with CBRN processes and procedures
Experience with small engine operations and maintenance
Experience with plumbing and electrical systems
Experience with basic military terminology
All SMEs will be certified as HAZMAT Technicians (OSHA, 29 CFR 1910.120) and will complete Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) online Incident Command System (ICS) courses ICS100, ICS200, ICS400, and ICS700a.
SMEs shall have sufficient specialized training to complete repairs and training duties for CBRN sustainment.
