Job Summary:
The Production Control Clerk is responsible for all production control functions under this effort and must have at least five years of supervisory experience and a comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures and instructions in the applicable supply & maintenance management. The Production Control Clerk must have a comprehensive knowledge of the applicable supply and maintenance management processes, related regulations and is required to ensure effective execution of the function. The Production Control Clerk must possess operational skill and knowledge of the automated supply systems utilized.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform clerk-related tasks such as issuing work orders, operating the equipment tracking system, and updating productivity charts.
Identification as LEAD, adds administrative duties to the standard labor category.
Administrative duties include personnel accountability, timekeeping, drafting and submitting reports, creating a safety culture, and enforcing company/contract requirements and standards.
Compiles and records production data for industrial establishments to compare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production.
May perform any combination of the following duties: compile and record production data from customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets following prescribed recording procedures and using different word processing techniques.
Writing production reports based on data compiled, tabulated and computed, following prescribed formats, maintaining files of documents used and prepared, compiling detailed production sheets or work tickets for use by production workers as guides in assembly or manufacture of products.
Sorts and distributes work tickets or material and may compute wages from employee time cards and post wage data on records used for preparation of payroll.
Minimum Qualifications:
GCSS-A experience.
3-5 years production control experience.
High School Diploma/GED.
Ability to obtain a NAC-I.
Microsoft Office Skills.
Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
Valid Driver’s License.
Ability to obtain a CAC.
Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.
Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
Desire d Qualifications:
GCSS-A Certification.
U.S. Army 92-series MOS qualification or civilian equivalent.
