Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
Drives a truck to transport materials, merchandise, equipment, or workers between various types of establishments such as: manufacturing plants, freight depots, warehouses, wholesale and retail establishments, or between retail establishments and customers’ houses or places of business.
Loads or unloads truck with or without helpers, make minor mechanical repairs, and keep truck in good working order.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Truck Driver, Heavy: Commercial Driver’s License
Four years truck driving experience
Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening
High School Diploma / GED
Ability to receive a favorable result of TIER-1 investigation and obtain a CAC.
Desired Qualifications:
Truck Driver, Tractor-Trailer: Commercial Driver’s License Preferred
Knowledgeable in S. Army maintenance procedures
U.S. Army 88M series MOS qualification or civilian equivalent
Physical Demands:
Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.
Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
