Job Responsibilities:
The Motor Vehicle Mechanic repairs, rebuilds, or overhauls major assemblies of internal combustion automobiles, buses, trucks or tractors. Work involves most of the following:
Diagnosing the source of trouble and determining the extent of repairs required; replacing worn or broken parts such as piston rings, bearings, or other engine parts; grinding and adjusting valves; rebuilding carburetors; overhauling transmissions; and repairing fuel injection, lighting, and ignition systems. In general, the work of the Motor Vehicle Mechanic requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent.
Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
Hourly Compensation: $21.67

Minimum Qualifications:
2 years motor vehicle maintenance experience.
Knowledgeable in U.S. Army maintenance procedures and AR 750-1.
Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 Investigation result.
Ability to bring and use own tools.
High School Diploma / GED.
Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.
Desired Qualifications:
3-5 year’s maintenance experience preferred.
US Army MOS 91/63 series qualification.
Experience on US Army tactical vehicles.
Valid Driver’s License.
CDL Preferred.
ASE Certified Preferred.
HVAC EPA Tech Cert 608/609.
Emergency Vehicle Technician Certified ASE Certification.
