Job Summary:

The project manager will lead a large volume enterprise Tier II and Tier III technical support and installation support services for 4,500 users; 13,336 computer accounts; 37 networks; over 2,111 virtual and physical servers of various operating systems and brands; 30 petabytes of disk storage; over 383 petabytes of tape storage; and over 1500 miles of network fiber. The role requires a customer focused attitude that will communicate with the client on a regular basis to discuss status, priorities, and issues.

Responsibilities:

They will organize work efforts and manage a team of 30-40 contractors by coordinating the day-to-day activities, work priorities and schedule employee shift coverage. Must be experienced with network administration, long haul networking, IT infrastructure installation, datacenter support, system administration, network engineering, system engineering, enterprise storage and backup, voice over IP, database management, application and server software administration, and familiar with facility physical security methods. Report data and KPIs weekly and monthly as well as any outages or emergencies to stakeholders. Implement and maintain policies, procedures, and goals. Minimize organizational cost through product standardization and tracking.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7 years management experience of 5 FTE or more; Prefer: 9 years program management experience, preferably in federal government program/project management of similar projects.

  • BA/BS in a related IT or STEM field of study.

  • Prefer Master's Degree and 10 years work experience in equivalent IT career field.

Certifications:

  • IAM Level I or IAT Level II certification per AFMAN 17-1303, DoDD 8140.01, and DoDD 8570.01-M and ITIL Foundations are highly desired.

Clearance:

  • An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required for consideration.
