Job Responsibilities:
NAVSEA NSWC Dahlgren requires on-site operational support for day-to-day operations of the Corporate Operations Department, Property Management Division, Supply Support.
Logistics and screening of supply and stock requirements.
Maintain compliance of OM&S line items in the accountable system of record, Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP).
Conduct physical inventories and provide assistance to Tech Departments on OM&S property and N-ERP issues.
Maintain and reconcile OM&S property records and receipts and ensure property records are auditable and meet compliance standards.
Conduct spot-check inventories under the purview of Property Management.
Conduct inventory of containers and validate shipping manifests against container contents.
Research and catalogue materials in support of Inventory/Warehouse Management.
Catalogue materials not found in the Federal Stock system through the creation of Unique Material Masters (UMMs).
Screen customer requests for OM&S that need to be brought into inventory and find/create stock numbers (NSNs and UMMs) that are required to perform the necessary material movement transactions in Navy ERP.
Find available local OM&S stock on-hand and provide appropriate data to customers.
Provide accurate and reliable metrics data that affect financial and operational reporting for NSWCDD Leadership.
Interface directly with NSWCDD Technical Departments, government POCs and Subject Matter Experts (SME), Procurement Analysts and Approving Officials, Inventory Specialists and Organizational Property Administrators (OPA), Container Control Officers (CCO), Property Functional Leads, and Accountable Property Officers (APO).
Update standard operating procedures and process guides as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a DoD-issued interim Secret security clearance prior to starting work.
Associates degree, or at least three (3) years of relevant work experience.
Ability to work independently across multiple online data bases to resolve issues and respond to customer requests.
Must be a detail-oriented and customer-focused team member.
Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with property management, inventory management, purchasing, and/or operating materials & supplies (OM&S).
Possess transactional knowledge and experience with the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Asset Management Module.
