Position Summary:

Individual will work directly under the Customer Support Supervisor and perform day-to-day supply operations and all assigned tasks in support of equipment accountability.

Major Job Activities:

  • Ensure supply activities comply with published USAF guidance and policy. Read, understand and interpret Air Force Manuals, governing supply systems, policies and other established guidelines.

  • Review current operating procedures outlined in the manual and other applicable directives. Ability to recognize problems, collect necessary data to establish the facts and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.

  • This position performs technical supply management work for equipment items maintained on Equipment Authorized/In-use Details (EAID) with the exception of vehicles. Research, prepare, and process inputs to add, change, or delete organizational records for host, satellite and geographically separated units. Process input transactions in the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) database for equipment assets that are received, added, deleted or shipped.

  • Conduct Annual Organizational Visits (AOV) on base organizations containing EAID assets and validate Capital Asset Reporting. Compile report and brief LRS/CC and organization commanders on results.

  • Conduct quarterly Supply Block Training classes on Equipment Management and perform on-base organization visits on supply programs to evaluate supply support and effectiveness.

  • Position can be classified as mission essential and may require employee to shelter at work site and respond to disasters and other contingency operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Four years of United States Air Force Base Supply experience or minimum USAF five level skill completion (2S05X) which may be substituted with desired supply experience approved by the Supply Manager.

  • Experience with USAF Supply processes and able to review and interpret Air Force supply instructions and regulations.

  • Experience in USAF Supply systems and databases (ES-S, AMS, D043, DPAS, Document Control AIS, etc.)

  • Must possess valid State Driver’s License.

  • Must have an active security clearance or ability to obtain a clearance and meet the requirements for issuance of a computer network account.

  • Must have good personal computer skills; proficient on MS Office products to include MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
