Job Summary:
Compass Point Federal (Compass Point) is hiring a seasoned professional with experience and expertise in Information Related Capabilities (IRC) and Requirements Development in support of the US Army Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE), Cyber Capability Development and Integration Directorate (C-CDID), Fort Gordon, Georgia. This position supports Army capability modernization efforts by researching, developing, assessing, analyzing, identifying, and defining operational and materiel requirements for joint and Army IRC and support the integration of capabilities across DOTMLPF-P.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough literary examination on available data (e.g. concepts, doctrine, white papers, assessment reports, lessons learned, etc.)
Generate conceptual foundation for development of capabilities for the future force in support of Army 2030 and 2040 objectives.
Identify military problems to assess, to include timeframe and scope.
Assess capabilities of current and future forces to meet relevant military objectives.
Identify capability gaps based on approved standards and evaluation criteria.
Assess potential DOTMLPF-P approaches to solving or mitigating capability gaps.
Determine integration force requirements and synchronize development of DOTMLPF-P solutions.
Develop recommendations for DOTMLPF prioritization, integration, and synchronization.
Assess critical technologies, including technology maturity, technical risk, and, if necessary, technology maturation and demonstration needs.
Assess the advantages/disadvantages of alternatives considered to satisfy capabilities, including the sensitivity of each alternative to possible changes in key assumptions or variables. Assess cost and system training.
Assess potential materiel solutions to satisfy the capability need.
Coordinate and facilitate experiments to support analysis and risk reduction.
Codify initial capabilities and capability development requirements.
Describe tasks and activities, operational elements, and resource flow exchanges required to conduct operations.
Occasional Travel Required (Up to 25% of the time)
Other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Information Operations, Psychological Operations/Military Information Support Operations (MISO), Civil Affairs, Public Affairs, and Military Deception, and/or Operations Security.
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in at least one of the following two areas: (1) as an action officer in the defense acquisition community; or (2) as an action officer in a capability development position.
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience with requirements and capability development documentation and approval processes.
A working knowledge of the following:
Knowledge of Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS)
Knowledge of Joint and service Information Operations, Psychological Operations/ Military Information Support Operations (MISO), Civil Affairs, and Special Operations organizations and their functions.
Ability to edit documents for correct grammar and format.
Knowledge in computer automation software (working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communications skills, briefing skills, problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Military Service Intermediate Level Education, Senior Service College or civilian equivalent is preferred.
Top Secret Security Clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility based on program requirements defined in specific Task Orders.
