Job Description:
The Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) is the U.S. Army's force modernization proponent for Cyberspace Operations, Signal/Communications Networks and Information Services, and Electronic Warfare (EW), and is responsible for developing related doctrine, organizational, training, materiel, leadership/education, personnel, and facility solutions. A major aspect of the CCoE's mission is the training, education, and development of world-class, highly skilled Signal, Cyber, and EW professionals supporting operations at the strategic, operational, and tactical level.
The G6 provides IT services support to all of the CCoE’s training and administrative platforms inclusive of but not limited to Cyber Security, Risk Management Framework (RMF), System Administration, Server Administration, System Engineering, Virtualization, Web Development, Automation, Programming/coding support, continuity of operations, and Service Desk functions. These services support approximately 24,000 end points consisting of physical and virtual servers, access points, wireless controllers, switches, and routers that provide classroom as a service using technologies such as VDI-MILS and Virtualization Technologies. This is provided on but not limited to 5 separate networks at this time UNCLASS, Classified, TS Classified, Commercial and a separate Audio-Visual Network as well as support requirements to various administrative networks i.e. NIPRNET and SIPRNET.
The Audio-Visual (AV) Fabrication Engineer will support the CCoE G6 in providing non-personal Information Technology (IT) support services to the Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE)
Job Responsibilities:
The AV Fabrication Engineer will oversee the provision of a Creston based, VIS / UC communications campus area network consisting of multiple VTC systems, as well as multiple desktop end points. The AV Fabrication Engineer will:
Ensure VTC Administration by deploying, STIGing, operating, patching, maintaining, and monitoring the CCoE G6 VIS system VTC systems and perform basic troubleshooting and support for NIPRNET, SIPRNET and JWICS VTCs
Use organizational VTC management tools to monitor the availability and scheduling of VTC Systems
Ensure VTC Daily Operations, set up equipment and VTC Bridge for VTC sessions, establish connections to the remote site/s, operate the equipment and monitor meetings.
Engineer, configure, and manage a Creston based VIS, UC system providing system optimization, configuring, coding, system design, new technologies evaluations, new technology integration, system expansions, engineering, and securing the CCoE G6 VIS system
Ensure advanced troubleshooting and support for multiple VTC
Ensure Advanced VTC services and systems integration functions to ensure the Campus VIS infrastructure remains full operational.
Minimum Qualifications:
You must be able to meet all health requirements, including but not limited to, current and future vaccination requirements for infectious diseases such as COVID-19
An active TS/SCI clearance is required
Required Certification(s): IAT II CE, Crestron Certification
Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited academic institution
10 Years with MA/MS or BA/BS with 12 yrs.
Proven leadership abilities to delegate tasks across a distributed team
Strong planning, problem solving, and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Independent thinking and decision-making skills.
Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced dynamic environment with rapidly changing customer requirements.
Daily interaction with employees, subcontractors and government stakeholders.
