Overview

Job Summary:

Cabin Appearance Agents are responsible for cabin cleaning operations. CAA work in teams to achieve the highest level of service and quality to our customer airlines, including monitoring the on-time performance goals set forth by each airline operation.

The CAA position is a support services position whose work routine is established and follows a set of procedures. Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Services aircraft as needed including:

  • cabin cleaning

  • Safe and efficient operations

  • Responsible for maintaining safety and security on board aircraft at all times

  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Be at least 16 years of age

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or show proof of right to work in the U.S.

  • Successfully complete a background investigation, including FBI fingerprints, criminal history and pre-employment drug test

  • Language Skills:

  • Able to fluently read, write, speak, and understand English

  • Good communication skills

  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals

  • Write routine reports and correspondence

  • Speak effectively one-on-one and before groups of customers or employees of the organization

  • Math skills:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

  • Reasoning Abilities:

  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram form. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

  • Ability to work under stressful situations and tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment

  • Friendly and outgoing personality

  • Self-motivated team player

  • Required to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules

Desired Qualifications:

  • Possess a valid driver’s license

  • Prior cabin cleaning experience

  • High School graduate or GED

Physical Demands:

  • Must be willing to work in inclement weather

  • May frequently lift or move up to 30 pounds, and on occasion may lift or move up to 50 pounds

  • Regularly required to use hands, talk, hear, bend, stoop, kneel, and is frequently required to stand, bend and walk

  • May be required to climb, sit, and balance

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus

  • Usually working inside but occasionally is exposed to all types of weather conditions with a seasonal range of extreme temperatures which include rain, snow and wind

  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can vary dramatically depending on location and time of day

  • Occasionally high noise levels where hearing protection is required and provided
