Job Responsibilities:

• Provide information assurance and cybersecurity for all DoD OIG networks to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of DoD OIG’s systems and data.

• Provide resources, consultation, and assist with the development, creation, deployment, migration of on-premise production, and documentation of Cloud computing technologies (Microsoft Azure and other Microsoft SaaS products) with a focus on cybersecurity.

• Possess and maintain an in-depth awareness of next generation Cloud technologies and the impact they may have on DoD OIG's environment.

• Deploy application security testing practices, to increase software quality, reduce vulnerabilities and defects in the development process--and evaluate supply chain risk.

• Assist in determining the overall data security policy by adhering to DoD data encryption strategies and instructions; identify and map all data storage and processing silos on-premises and in cloud services.

• Monitor threats with analysis, incident response, vulnerability management and other activities focused on monitoring, assessing, detecting, investigating, hunting and responding to cyber threats.

• Respond, categorize, log, and report security incidents according to OIG SOPs & processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

• Bachelor's degree with five to ten years of relevant experience.

• IATII level certification such as Security or Security CE is required; IAMIII level certification is desired.
