Computer Security Systems Specialist (Intermediate)

Job Summary:

ADM is looking for a Computer Security Systems Specialist (Intermediate) to work in Alexandria, VA. The Computer Security Systems Specialist (Intermediate) will provide cybersecurity program services to the OIG Authorizing Official (AO) and Information System Security Manager (ISSM).

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide information assurance and cybersecurity for all DoD OIG networks to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of DoD OIG’s systems and data.

• Provide firewall (Palo Alto) monitoring and management support services in compliance with DoD OIG policies and standards by coordinating with the OIG CNDSP firewall team for network blocks based on findings, monitor security events, audit firewall configurations, publish reports and recommend best practice Firewall policies.

• Responsible for secure web gateway (Menlo Security) maintenance, policies, and optimization.

• Manage, Monitor, and conduct incident response for Antivirus solution (Trellex) and Endpoint Security Solution (Carbon Black) in accordance with the DISA STIGs, CTOs, DoD OIG procedures, and any other applicable directives.

• Provide resources, consultation, and assist with the development, creation, deployment, and documentation on Cloud computing technologies (Microsoft Azure and other Microsoft SaaS products) with a focus on cybersecurity.

• Conduct support infrastructure (asset baseline, Host Intrusion) protection and security threats, incidents or events, malicious and rogue monitoring.

• Monitor SIEM tools (Splunk), conduct data correlation, and report analysis regarding OIG IA sensors and capabilities.

• Respond, categorize, log, and report security incidents according to OIG SOPs & processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

• Bachelor's degree with ten to fifteen years of relevant experience.

• IATII level Certification such as Security or Security CE is required; IAMIII level certification is preferred.
