Job Summary:
The Nuclear Deterrence Transformation team is seeking an innovative and highly motivated individual to join the Nuclear Deterrence Transformation (NDT) team. This role will be responsible for supporting the development of meaningful improvements for ND product realization and quality management system processes. This includes working closely with NDT team leads, ND governance, Systems and component teams to advance ND’s technical processes, tools and design guides to enable consistent program execution across the ND portfolio. Additionally, this role will support Deputy Lab Director initiatives to address foundational challenges that affect ND programs.
This position offers a unique opportunity to:
Utilize your experience to develop solutions to improve Sandia’s product realization process
Contribute to cross-weapons program projects
Interact and build working relationships with ND senior and executive leadership
Gain exposure to multiple areas of the ND mission space
Gain a breadth and depth of knowledge across the National Security Enterprise (NSE)
Support ND initiatives that have impact across Sandia and NSE
Work with NDT team to manage and use information management systems or tools to collect and disseminate information, communications, and data to internal and external team members and customers.
Guide team on selection, configuration, and use of information management systems and integrated information management solutions.
